Cleaning ball
Cleaning balls are elastic balls made of rubber or polyurethane, used to keep screen cloths and sieves clean by continuously striking the underside of the mesh. As the screen vibrates, the balls bounce against the mesh and dislodge clogged or "blinded" material, ensuring the openings remain clear and capacity is maintained. They are available in various hardnesses and dimensions tailored to the mesh size and process, allowing for optimized cleaning without damaging the screening media. Cleaning balls are therefore a simple yet highly effective tool for reducing downtime and manual cleaning work in screening plants.
